Do You See What I See?
SIGHT will be the focus for the Enabling Festival 2020. The theme “Do You See What I See?” invites “You” to see what “I” the caregiver, or the people with dementia and organisers and friends of the festival “See”.
Not many of us will know what it feels like to live with the knowledge that our brain can play tricks on us and that we may see and perceive things entirely differently from everyone else. This is because we see the world based on our own lens and not through the perspective of people living with dementia, who are beset with visual obstacles and more.
At the festival, connect with caregivers, hear from thought leaders, pose questions to health professionals and specialists, and enjoy our artistic and informative films, talks, theatre, movement classes and more.
Join us at the Enabling Festival 2020! Supported by Temasek Trust and [email protected] fund, The Majurity Trust, and Agency for Integrated Care, and is organised by Enable Asia.

Project Care For Me
In tandem with the Enabling Festival 2020, Enable Asia are working in partnership with the Singapore Management University on ‘Project Care For Me’. This research will help us to understand the well-being of the most important people in the lives of persons with mental health (including dementia) issues in Singapore: their caregivers. With the spotlight on persons with mental health issues in Singapore, especially during Covid-19, we need to care for the caregivers who face increasing challenges to their own well-being..
We encourage you to watch this video featuring Rosie Ching, Principal Investigator leading the study at SMU. In the video Rosie explains the potential helpful outcomes of this research. Please contact us if you’d like to learn more.
